Hotel MagadhiPatna · Since 2019Reserve →Since 2019: ten rooms, one banquet hall, and a promise that hasn't moved. This is the shorter version — how we started, who we welcomed, and what the address on Atal Path has quietly become.
Hotel Magadhi opened in Patna in 2019 with ten rooms and one promise — a stay that felt private, familiar, and unhurried. Seven years on, the promise hasn't moved.
Guests come to us for the same reasons they always have: because the door is answered at 3 a.m., and because the person at the desk remembers your name the second time you visit.

Five stops from the ten-room opening in 2019 to the two-brand block on Atal Path it is today.
Hotel Magadhi opened its doors on Atal Path, Mahesh Nagar, with ten rooms, a banquet hall, and one promise — a stay that felt private, familiar, and unhurried, for people passing through Patna and for the families who called it home.
Magadhi established a clear policy — unmarried duos and young couples welcomed with valid ID, without the interrogation. A quiet stance that earned a steady, trusting clientele.
The signature Bihari thali and festive-week menus started drawing food lovers from across the city — regulars who came for lunch, and slowly, for the room too.
The top floor became a restaurant under its own name — Vrihi Skydeck, 326 dishes strong, with Patna spread out below.
Six years in, we host business travellers on their tenth trip, couples on their first, and families who now book by messaging the desk directly. That last part is the one we are most proud of.
The three things a guest at Magadhi should be able to expect, every stay.
The front desk is manned twenty-four hours, seven days. Not a phone tree, not a bell — a person. Even at 3 a.m.
The thali is made the way it always was, and if you say “the usual” the second time, someone knows what you mean.
Valid ID at check-in, no interrogation about who you are or why you came. Adults with a plan are welcome; the details are yours.
The rest is a room and a warm meal. WhatsApp us — someone always picks up.
